My client came to me with a sentimental pendant that had become very old and worn over time, and she wanted it recreated in a way that would last for years to come. Since the original material was difficult to identify and no longer durable, I chose to remake the piece in stainless steel for its strength and longevity. The pendant was laser cut and carefully polished, resulting in a clean, refined piece that preserved the meaning of the original while giving it a new life. Seeing my client’s reaction to the remade pendant and how happy she was to have the piece restored made the project especially meaningful to me.
